Remidue

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Remidue (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), published by Nixmio, handles information when you use the App on your iOS device and when you visit our marketing website at remidue.nixmio.com. By installing or using the App, or by using the website, you agree to the practices described below.

This website (remidue.nixmio.com)

The Remidue marketing website does not collect your in-app reminder data. It may use essential cookies and, only if you consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site. The iOS App itself does not use analytics or advertising trackers, as described in the sections below.

Cookies and similar technologies

When you visit remidue.nixmio.com, we use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage for non-essential preferences on some pages) as described below. Essential cookies are required for the site to function; analytics cookies are optional and only used if you consent.

Essential cookies

These include cookies that keep you signed in to administrative areas (if applicable), protect forms with CSRF tokens, and remember your cookie consent choice. We do not use essential cookies for advertising.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated information about how visitors use our website — for example which pages are viewed and general traffic patterns. Google may process this data as our service provider. We do not use GA4 for advertising or cross-site profiling on these sites.

GA4 may set cookies such as _ga and related identifiers. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates. Google's privacy information is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choices

On your first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage preferences. Your choice is stored in a cookie shared across nixmio.com, remidue.nixmio.com, and appcharts.nixmio.com so you are not asked again on each subdomain. You can change your mind at any time using in the site footer.

If you reject analytics cookies, we do not load Google Analytics on your browser. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — contact us using the details below.

Retention

Your consent preference is kept for up to 365 days unless you clear cookies sooner. Analytics data retention in Google Analytics follows our GA4 property settings (typically limited retention periods configured in Google Analytics).

1. Summary (the iOS App)

Remidue is an offline-first reminder app. We do not operate any backend servers and we do not collect, store, or transmit your reminder content. The only third-party data exchange happens when you make an in-app purchase, as described in Section 4.

2. Information we do not collect (the iOS App)

We do not collect or have access to:

  • Your reminders, amounts, due dates, notes, categories, or any other content you create in the App.
  • Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. Remidue does not have user accounts.
  • Your contacts, photos, location, calendar, or any other system data.
  • Analytics events, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprints.

All reminder data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have an iCloud backup enabled at the system level, your device backup may include the App's local database; that backup is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and is not accessible to us.

3. Information stored on your device

The App stores the following on your device only:

  • Your reminders and their associated metadata.
  • App preferences (default currency, default time zone, notification defaults, custom categories).
  • A small “widget snapshot” file in a shared App Group container so that home-screen and lock-screen widgets can render without launching the App. This snapshot never leaves your device.
  • System-level notification permissions, which you grant or deny through iOS. We do not see who you are; iOS simply allows the App to schedule local notifications on your device.

Deleting the App removes everything stored locally. Information transmitted to Apple or RevenueCat for purchase processing (Section 4) is not erased by deleting the App.

4. In-app purchases (RevenueCat and Apple)

Remidue offers an optional one-time in-app purchase for full access. Purchase processing is handled by Apple's App Store and by RevenueCat, Inc. (“RevenueCat”), our third-party in-app purchase provider. To deliver and validate your purchase, the following information is necessarily processed:

  • Apple App Store: receives your payment, your Apple ID, and the transaction details. Apple's handling of this information is governed by Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
  • RevenueCat: receives an anonymous, randomly generated identifier from the App, the App Store transaction receipt, your country, your device type, and the App version. RevenueCat uses this information solely to validate your purchase, provide entitlement state to the App, and aggregate anonymous purchase metrics for us. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

We do not receive your name, email address, payment method, or any other identifying information from these providers. We only receive the anonymous entitlement state (“premium” or “not premium”) so the App knows whether to unlock paid features.

If you never start a purchase or restore flow, no information is sent to Apple or RevenueCat from the App.

5. Notifications

Remidue uses Apple's local notifications to remind you of your bills and payments. Notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. We do not use push notifications and we do not run any notification server.

6. Children's privacy

Remidue is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly process personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, no special collection practices apply.

7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar laws)

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, the typical rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing have no data for us to act on. For information held by Apple or RevenueCat in connection with your purchase, please contact those parties directly using the privacy contact details in their respective policies linked above.

You may delete your local data at any time by deleting the App from your device.

8. Security

Reminder data is stored on your device and is protected by the same operating-system safeguards Apple provides for app data, including device-level encryption when your device is locked with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We cannot guarantee absolute security and no method of electronic storage is completely secure.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Remidue is a personal organization tool. It is not a financial service, not a payment processor, and not a substitute for your own due diligence.

You are solely responsible for paying your bills, meeting deadlines, and managing your finances. Remidue's reminders are best-effort local notifications that depend on iOS, your device's power state, your notification permissions, Do Not Disturb / Focus settings, and other factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of Remidue, including without limitation:

  • missed payments, late fees, interest, penalties, or service interruptions resulting from a notification not being delivered, being delivered late, or being missed by you;
  • any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages;
  • loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.

You acknowledge that Remidue is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranty of any kind, and that you use it at your own risk.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the App, in third-party services we rely on, or in applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be surfaced in the App or on this page. You are responsible for reviewing this policy periodically; continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
